Odor Control Technician Class (OCT)

The IICRC Odor Control Technician Class provides the critical and necessary foundation for Fire and Smoke Remediation Technicians. The course is designed to provide the participant “start to finish” knowledge of how to perform an Odor Control project. Key topics covered are Safety, Odor Classification, Odor Source Identification, Odor Source Removal, Professional Cleaning Products, and Job Documentation.

Upon completing the course, the student will take an IICRC Administered online exam with 90 multiple choice questions. A passing score of 75% or greater is needed to obtain IICRC Certification.
