Fire and Smoke Remediation Technician Class (FSRT)

The IICRC Fire and Smoke Remediation Technician Class (FSRT) provides the critical and necessary foundation for Fire and Smoke Remediation Technicians. The course is designed to provide the participant “start to finish” knowledge of how to perform a Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration project. Key topics covered are Safety, Emergency Service Procedures, Smoke Classifications, Cleaning Methods, Demolition Methods, Restoration Equipment, and Job Documentation.

Upon completing the course, the student will take an IICRC Administered online exam with 123 multiple choice questions. A passing score of 75% or greater is needed to obtain IICRC Certification.
